Twist it Moto team rider 437 of Nate Tomerini came out swinging in round one of the 2019 Western Australian junior state title series.
With a packed class of competition in the 50cc pro’s and the very last gate selection with pick number 36, Nate held his head high in birthday spirits ripping an awesome start in moto 1 right around the outside of the split lane.
Holding third with some tough battles alongside the number 610 of Ollie Birkitt, Nate finished solid in 3rd place for moto 1.
Moto 2 had Nate filled with smiles and confidence with yet another great start around the outside, just falling short of the holeshot! Doing battling with the front runners of Mason Brown and Deegan Fort, Nate held close by going back and forth with Deegan pushing to make another move. Cross rutting sideways and down into the bank Nate bounced off the edge of the track with the save of the day coming in close by with another great run in 3rd.
The last moto for the day the 50cc machines struggled with the little rippers swinging off the back of them in the rough Western Australian sand of the Coastal Park circuit. Nate with yet another solid start for the day rode out for a smooth and smart finish for the day in 3rd. This left the Twist it Moto team rider with a podium overall for the day, and coming into the championship series 3rd.
